Online Sales & Paid Community Platform

Digital infrastructure for online sales and a paid Telegram community

A product delivered as a tech partner, not from a specification: the client brought top-level business goals, and NekaSoft ran discovery, designed the user scenarios, and delivered the site, payments, Telegram automation, deployment, and about 3 years of ongoing support.

Online Sales & Paid Community Platform

Context

The client, an expert with a public audience of 20,000+, was already selling webinars, educational programs, and other digital products. But the purchase process was not organized as a complete, convenient online flow: users needed a clear path from choosing a product to paying online, and the business needed infrastructure for accepting payments, managing products, and scaling.

A separate opportunity was a new monetization format: a private paid Telegram community with a recurring subscription. It did not exist as a product before this project.

The project did not start from a detailed technical specification. The client formulated business goals and top-level wishes; NekaSoft ran discovery and interviews, worked out the user scenarios, and took on most of the product and technical decisions.

Solution

One connected infrastructure serves two monetization scenarios: online sales of the existing products and a new subscription product, the paid Telegram community.

  • A complete purchase path on the site: from choosing a webinar, program, or digital product to online payment, with no manual steps on the client's side
  • A Telegram bot where users buy and renew community subscriptions
  • An automatic subscription lifecycle: access after payment, advance warnings before expiry, access kept on renewal and closed when a subscription ends
  • Automated access management for private Telegram channels and communities
  • Sales of additional products and webinars, admin operations, and broadcasts in the bot
  • Google Sheets as the management layer for part of the products, promo codes, and content
  • A payment infrastructure that changed over the years: YooKassa, PayPal, PayAnyWay, Tribute, and Telegram Stars at different stages

Two things matter here. The paid community appeared as a new product precisely because the payment and technical infrastructure made it possible. And the system lived through several changes of payment providers, which is the real test of a payment integration.

Result

The client got a convenient, evolving online sales infrastructure and a new monetization channel.

  • Existing products got full online payment, and the purchase path became much more convenient
  • A new product was created and launched: a private paid Telegram community
  • The full subscription lifecycle is automated and no longer needs constant manual checks
  • Access to private Telegram spaces is managed automatically
  • Several payment solutions connected; the site and Telegram work as complementary sales channels
  • New products, webinars, and payment methods can be added without rebuilding the system
  • According to the client, the launch of the new online sales infrastructure and the paid community created a new revenue stream and showed positive business results

Delivery

The first working version launched in about 2 months.

The system has been in production for about 3 years and is still supported and developed by NekaSoft: new products and webinars, changes of payment infrastructure and new payment methods, and evolving community functionality.
